Alumnus and Head of NYB’s Outreach Programme Jo Meredith‘s most recent choreography ‘Chimera‘ has received much praise as part of 2013’s Cloud Dance Festival, following her 2009 piece ‘Vulnerasti‘. Jo is currently dancing in Will Tuckett’s The Wind in the Willows in the West End and will be returning to choreograph a stylish new piece for the NYB’s 2014 Season.
NYB Alumus and choreographer Drew McOnie has received yet another fantastic review for his choreography, this time for his work in Paul Kerryson’s Chicago at Leicester’s Curve Theatre. Read the full review of Chicago here. Drew has worked under the wing of Matthew Bourne and is tipped as ‘The Next Big Thing in Musical Theatre Choreography’ by Time Out (2013).
Drew has recently launched the McOnie Company and is currently working on new production DRUNK. Drew will also be returning to work with the NYB for the 2014 season to stage Little Red Riding Hood, a new jazz ballet with live jazz band.
