Abbie Steele
Abbie (she/her) trained at Morea Performing Arts. Alongside her vocational training Abbie studied and completed her ISTD Diploma in Dance Education in Ballet, Tap and Modern where she was extremely privileged to be taught by the creators of the current syllabi. During her time at college Abbie was honoured to work with Dr Ross Mckim as he created a brand a new contemporary syllabus and she was a dancer for the launch in 2019.
Abbie is very lucky to teach a wide variety of talented students for different schools as well as working with and teaching industry professionals. She teaches and choreographs for both the Associate programme and Summer School for Morea Performing Arts and has taught workshop classes at dance conventions. Abbie is also grateful to be assisting Matt Nicholson on new choreography and projects.
Abbie is a passionate, energetic, highly technical dancer, performer, teacher and choreographer. Always striving to push the boundaries and take creative risks in her work. She loves helping people become the best artists, performers and dancers they can be. She knows how important her teachers and mentors were and channels their care and motivation in everything she does.
