Claire is a freelance arts marketing and audience development specialist, based in rural Cambridgeshire and passionate about widening access and increasing audiences to the arts and culture. Alongside her work with NYB, her current portfolio of clients includes King’s Lynn Festival, NW Live Arts and theatre company, Notnow Collective. She has also worked on audience development and marketing projects for Bloomsbury Festival, Cambridge Handel Opera Company, Luton Culture, Cambridge Corn Exchange and Chapels Royal (Tower of London) amongst others.
Prior to becoming a freelancer, Claire was the Marketing Director at Britten Sinfonia for almost ten years and before that worked at artsdepot, City of London Sinfonia and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. She developed her passion for dance whilst working in her first marketing role at DanceEast, where she was privileged to work with many leading choreographers and dance companies, alongside encouraging participants for DanceEast’s leading classes and courses programme.
