Claire Bowdler
Claire is a freelance arts marketing, audience development and communications specialist based in Cumbria. Her work is an exhilarating blend of creativity and strategy, and she enjoys immersing herself in a diverse range of projects.
From crafting captivating campaigns to developing ambassador schemes, from designing targeted social media strategies to shaping comprehensive marketing and communications plans, she enjoys bringing the arts to life for audiences for a variety of organisations and communities.
Alongside NYB, her current clients include The National Youth Orchestra, King’s Lynn Festival, JW3 and theatre company, Notnow Collective. She has also had the opportunity to work on audience development and marketing projects for organisations including Luton Culture, Cambridge Corn Exchange, Bloomsbury Festival, and NW Live Arts, among many others. Each project gives her a chance to push the boundaries, break new ground, and bring the arts to a wider audience.
Before venturing into the world of freelancing, Claire was the Marketing Director at Britten Sinfonia for almost a decade. Prior to that, she worked at artsdepot, City of London Sinfonia, and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival, honing her skills and deepening her knowledge of marketing and communications. Claire developed her love of dance whilst in her first marketing role at DanceEast.
