Hannah George
Training/Education: Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
Professional Experience: Hannah is now freelancing as a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and rehearsal director. She is currently touring with Gandini Juggling’s ‘LIFE’: A love letter to Merce Cunningham, most recently visiting venues in France, Portugal, and Belgium. She has also performed works by choreographers including Fubunation, Hubert Essakow, and multi-disciplinary artists Gibson/Martelli. Hannah is a founding member of the Sound of Movement collective, merging the worlds and methods of contemporary dancers and jazz musicians through live performance and workshops. She has also rehearsal directed for choreographers such as Gerrard Martin (NYB), and Otis Cameron-Carr (The Royal Ballet Autumn Draft Works). Hannah is a NYB alumna and continues to work with the company as a Beyond Ballet© artist, teacher, and rehearsal director. She also teaches at multiple schools and programmes including Trinity Laban. Sharing the value of art and dance education with individuals and communities is of huge importance to Hannah.
