Jo Meredith

Jo Meredith is an international movement director, dance educator and choreographer

Jo is an alumna of the National Youth Ballet and has created seven ballets for the company.

For Youth Music Theatre UK she directed and choreographed More in Common a musical inspired by the life and work of murdered MP Jo Cox. She directed the Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus in a work inspired by Windrush which was performed at Tilbury Docks. She is associate lecturer in choreography at London Studio Centre and an associate artist for English National Ballet, leading on several of their youth dance initiatives.

Macbeth directed by Bruno Ravella and A Fairy Queen and Un Ballo in Maschera directed by Tim Nelson at Iford Arts. Siegfried and Gotterdammerung, Longborough Festival Opera. Don Giovanni directed by Lloyd Wood and La Calisto directed by Tim Nelson for English Touring Opera. She re-staged Leah Hausman’s movement for David McVicar’s Royal Opera production of Rigoletto at Teatro Real, Madrid and at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
