Richard trained at Central School of Ballet graduating with a BA and MA in choreography.

K-Ballet, Tokyo, Tivoli Ballet Theatre, Copenhagen and The National Ballet of Ireland.  Guest dancer for English National Ballet, Peter Schaufuss Ballet, and Opera North.

Recent choreographic credits include:  Sweepstakes, Tribute to Fosse, On The Town [extracts] London Studio Centre (New Wimbledon Theatre), Silk: The Eternal Road (Beijing Century Theater), Swan Lake The National Ballet of Ireland (national tour including Wexford Opera House, Gaiety Theatre Dublin), La Belle Époque Ballet Central (national tour), The Tell-Tale Heart dance film (premiere Hospital Club, London), Mr Greentree (Hospital Club, London), In Other Words (Kings Place, London).

Teacher

Richard was appointed Creative Director of English National Ballet Youth Company in 2019.  Teaching credits include London Studio Centre, where he is a member of the ballet faculty, Mountview, Central School of Ballet, West London School of Dance, and Dance Works, London.
