Richard Bermange

Richard Bermange (he/him) is a choreographer, director, and teacher. He trained at Central School of Ballet, graduating in 2005, before returning to complete an MA in Choreography in 2016.

Richard has created work for companies across the UK and internationally, including Swan Lake for The National Ballet of Ireland, alongside commissions for Ballet Central, London Studio Centre, ENBYouthCo, and National Youth Ballet. As Creative Director of ENBYouthCo (2019–2023), he led four successful seasons, choreographing and commissioning new works. He first created work with National Youth Ballet in 2019, returning in 2022 as rehearsal director for The Green Umbrella and in 2024 to choreograph Ephemeral Blueprint.

Richard is a frequent guest teacher, ballet master, and rehearsal director, Richard previously danced with K-Ballet Tokyo, Tivoli Ballet Copenhagen, The National Ballet of Ireland, English National Ballet, Peter Schaufuss Ballet, Opera North, and on a wide range of freelance productions.
