NYB All In! Inclusive Ballet Day

NYB is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for up to 15 dancers aged between 14-30, based in the Midlands to take part in an NYB All in! Inclusive ballet day! 

During the day you will work with Jo Meredith, Creative Director of National Youth Ballet and Daniel Davidson, NYB Choreographer for Evolving Visions. 

You will:

  •  Take part in an inclusive ballet class
  •  Learn National Youth Ballet repertoire 
  •  Create new ballet choreography together

Please note, you do not have to be based in the Midlands to participate.

You will also have the opportunity to book tickets for the relaxed performance of Evolving Visions at Crescent Theatre, Birmingham, 2pm.

What to wear?

Make sure that you wear comfortable clothes which you can move easily in, you do not need to wear ballet clothes, or shoes. 

 

What to bring?

Bring a packed lunch and light snacks, no nuts please

Bring a refillable water bottle

Come ready to dance with your dance clothes, wearing the clothes you will be wearing already

 

That NYB can’t provide personal care

We are afraid that we can’t provide personal care, though we are very happy to welcome any support workers that you would like to bring. Please let us know your access needs via the form provided and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact: natalie.haslam@nationalyouthballet.org 

 

Want to bring a support worker?

We are very happy to welcome your support workers into our classes, please just let us know in advance who will be with you so that we can account for them and know who will be attending. 

 

I want to attend the relaxed performance, what should I do?

The relaxed performance is taking place at 2pm on Thursday 22nd August, at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham. Please Let us know via email if you would like to attend the performance and we will arrange a code for you to buy tickets: jo.meredith@nationalyouthballet.org
