Our vision is that young people will create the ballet of the future.

Trusts and Foundations

Together we can inspire young people to create the ballet of the future through our programmes and the opportunities we provide at all levels in the professions of dance, choreography and teaching.  Our mission is to provide empowering and transformational opportunities for young people to participate in, create and perform ballet.  We seek to give our future generations a strong and diverse voice.

Our current campaign is focused on delivering our ambitious vision and mission and support from funders is integral in enabling us to achieve our goals.  Our work provides young members of our company with increased skills, confidence and aspirations and develop their technical skills in dance as well as key life skills which will equip them for their future, whether as dancers or on another career path.

We are seeking funding for our future Performance Company and Beyond Ballet.  Our Performance Company experience for 9-18 year olds emulates a professional company, with world-class choreographers and teachers, leading to a performance at Sadler’s Wells.  Beyond Ballet sees emerging artists receive mentoring to present their work in a professional context.  We are also committed to diversity and inclusion and we deliver projects with schools and communities offering many young people their first experience of dance, creativity and performance.

Our priority is to raise funds so these opportunities can take place.  Our company is going through a period of significant structural change and 2020 is an important transitional year.  Putting in place the financial resources now is crucial in order to secure our future.  Grants enable us to achieve our short-term funding goals and ensure we can move forward to securing funding for years to come.

Our independent Board of Trustees underpin everything that we do to help achieve our strategic focus.  They recently created an annual bursary fund with a target in order to access disadvantaged young people or those wouldn’t otherwise have access to our opportunities.

We are extremely grateful to the following foundations for their recent support.  We have applied to a number of other foundations and are reaching out to our alumni and supporters in a more sustained effort.
