Training/Education: BA Modern Ballet (Scottish Ballet) at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow. Centre for Advanced Training, London Contemporary Dance School, The Place, White Lodge, The Royal Ballet Lower School.

Professional Experience: Performance experience includes touring the UK as ‘Officer’ in the internationally renowned ‘5 Soldiers’ and performing in Ballet Cymru’s ‘A Child’s Christmas’, as well as BalletFolk’s ‘Swan of Salen’. Since winning The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s choreography competition twice, commissions include the Global COP-26 Conference’s ETCH festival, National Dance Company Wales LAUNCH and representation by National Performing Arts Funding Exchange (USA). Currently advocating for inclusive practice in dance and working in SEND departments. Recently choreographed an inclusive adaptation of ‘Cinderella’ for Origins Festival on a cast of 28 disabled dancers on Remix inclusive dance company, where I am currently practitioner.

 

Biggest Inspiration: The witty, nostalgic style of Matthew Rawcliffe is something I often strive for. Every new piece is something entirely new and always puts a smile on my face!
