The National Youth Ballet has, without doubt, been one of the most inspiring and creatively developmental environments I have ever experienced.

I have been so impressed by the ambition of this Company.  We are not just looking at pieces of choreography, we are looking at pieces of theatre and that’s amazing!  NYB simply doesn’t settle for second best

What NYB creates is such a holistic experience, the distilled intensity of being part of a company, learning, rehearsing and then performing repertoire. Exciting new work, amazing projections, music, lighting and costumes, even a mini-tour… And the final result is such a fantastic performance on stage.

NYB gave me the chance to perform in front of directors and leaders of the Ballet world. I was asked by the current director of Birmingham Royal Ballet to take class with the company. This was all possible due to NYB. I will always be grateful to them for starting my career.

NYB continues to set a standard for excellence in its performances, wherever they may be.  My admiration for the entire organisation grows year by year.
