Anna Freire Camacho
Training/Education: Anna Freire Camacho (she/her) completed a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Bristol before realising that she wanted to work in stage management. She then went on to study for a Master’s in Stage and Production Management at Guildford School of Acting in 2021.
Professional Experience: Anna’s professional experience includes Deputy Stage Managing A Christmas Carol at the Albany Theatre, Coventry at the end of 2021.
Biggest Inspiration: ‘My biggest inspiration comes from pre-history. We’ve been creating art for tens of thousands
of years, using it as a way to record information and tell stories, some of which still survives today. Creating art is one of the things that makes us human, and it’s one of the things that makes me happiest, so I couldn’t be without it.’
