Araminta Wraith

Training/Education: Araminta Wraith is an actor, dancer, and theatre-maker. She trained as an actor at RADA following an illustrious career as a ballet dancer.

Araminta trained in ballet at the Royal Ballet School and went on to dance with English National Ballet, and as a soloist at Scottish Ballet, performing leading roles in contemporary ballet and modern dance for 14 years.

Professional Experience: Credits include: Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire, and the lead in Money’s Hold Me Forever, directed by Cillian Murphy; as well as performing ‘Dust’ (Akram Khan) on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and Swan Lake at Wembley Stadium.

Her most recent stage creation, We’ve Had Such A Lovely Time, in collaboration with Dan Sherer, premiered at The Place in London in January 2024 and will tour nationwide next year.
Her work as movement director includes the film, Split Ends, which will premiere at the BFI IMAX in May 2025.
