Beri Valentine

Training / Education: Beri graduated with First class honours from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying Stage Management with a focus on Opera

 

Professional Experience: Beri has deputised as an ASM for west end productions including Pride & Prejudice (sort of) at the Criterion Theatre and Grease at the Dominion Theatre. In April 2023, Beri completed a work placement with Stage Management at the Royal Opera House, working on Saariaho’s Innocence. After that he joined the UK & Ireland tour of Jersey Boys as an Assistant Stage Manager before returning to Guildhall to complete his studies. After graduating, Beri was Stage Manager for Bampton Classical Opera’s production of Salieri’s At the Venice Fair and also stage managed Trouble in Tahiti at the Grimeborn Festival.

 

Biggest Inspiration: Beri’s biggest inspiration comes from growing up with music and playing the trumpet. Combining theatre with music is a perfect match and gives me a passion to work with it.
