Carys Barker

Carys has recently completed her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance at West Herts College and will continue her training on the degree course at London Studio Centre, supported by an Exceptional Talent Scholarship.

From 2020–2026, she trained with The Place CAT programme, performing with Lila Dance Company and working with artists including Northern Rascals, André Fabien Francis, Susan Kempster, Yukiko Masui, Kamara Gray, Fubunation and Hofesh Schecter.

As a member of ENBYouthCo (2023–2026), Carys worked with choreographers including John-William Watson, Miguel Altunaga, Estela Merlos, Carolyn Bolton, Jane Chan, Serena McCall, Richard Bermange, Hannah Rudd and Jacob Wye.

Alongside performing, Carys enjoys rehearsal directing and choreography. This year, she rehearsal directed for Aneta Zwierzyńska’s work at The Peggy Hawkins Gala at The Place. She also manages ENBYouthCo’s Instagram account and is currently studying for her ISTD Diploma in Dance Education with Anna Morgan, reflecting her passion for inspiring the next generation of dancers
