Ciara Sampson
Ciara Sampson (she/her) transitioned into becoming a practitioner in Sport and Performance Psychology following a professional career in classical ballet. Ciara combines her first-hand experience of dance with evidence-based psychological practice, to enhance dancers’ performance and wellbeing.
Ciara’s approach is performer centred, strengths based, and values led. She currently works
within British Ice Skating, Elmhurst Ballet School, and private practice, supporting dancers and athletes aged 10 through to professional level.
Ciara works with individuals and organisations, creating supportive environments where young people can thrive both on and off the stage. She is delighted to be joining National Youth Ballet’s Moving Minds programme this summer, supporting dancers through their residential experience.
