Elisa Mozzanica

Elisa (she/her) is originally from Italy, where she started dancing at the age of 14. She moved to London in 2014 and completed her degree in Contemporary Dance at London Contemporary Dance School, where she had the opportunity to perform pieces by Hofesh Schechter, Punchdrunk and Sasha Roubicek.

Upon graduation Elisa joined the Programming Department at Sadler’s Wells before becoming Company Tour Manager for BalletBoyz. In this role she discovered her passion for sewing and costume construction and she has continued to develop these skills alongside touring, working as a freelance seamstress and knitter.

Elisa is excited to join National Youth Ballet as part of the Beyond Ballet® programme. NYB has been one of her first experiences of the costume world, and she is looking forward to nurturing her passion further.
