George Hill
Training/Education: Trained at the Royal Ballet School, London. Recipient of the Lynn Seymour Award; Young British Dancer of the Year finalist (2003) and Adeline Genée finalist (2004), performing in Greece.
Professional Experience: George danced with the Royal Ballet, toured with Birmingham Royal Ballet, and joined the Semperoper Ballet in Germany and Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, touring internationally across Europe, Asia, and America. His repertoire spans soloist and principal roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Giselle, and The Sleeping Beauty, alongside collaborations with Forsythe, Kylián, and Mats Ek. Expanding beyond opera houses, he performed in Tabaluga the Musical, created and starred in McQueen The Play in London’s West End, appeared in music videos and screen productions, modeled for Prada, Jil Sander, and Moschino, and is a sought-after guest teacher and lecturer.
Biggest Inspiration: Driven by storytelling through movement and the transformative power of performance, George draws inspiration from expressive artists, human emotion, and the limitless dialogue between classical technique and contemporary creativity.
