Honor Dixon
Honor is a freelance contemporary dance artist working across choreography, performance, teaching, and rehearsal directing. A graduate of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, her work spans theatre, touring, and festival contexts, with highlight performances at Sadler’s Wells, York Theatre Royal, and the Edinburgh Fringe. She is a Company Dancer with E33 Dance, recently in Romeo and Juliet Swing for the Battersea Jazz Festival. Honor is currently Choreographer for by the lake a project in the making with Bezalel Orchestra. Alongside her artistic work, she facilitates trauma-informed movement workshops with The Natashas Project, working with survivors of modern slavery and trafficking. Honor is particularly interested in choreographic processes that treat accessibility as a starting point rather than an addition. Her practice is rooted in kindness, collaboration, and contemplation.
