Julie Wright

Training/Education: Julie Wright (she/her) is a freelance Dance Artist working within the Shropshire and West Midland areas. She trained to Fellowship level of the International Dance Teachers Association and hold a Teaching Certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Professional Experience: Following her 25 year career of teaching in Further Education and being Principal of her own dance school, Dance2gether, Julie decided to explore the wider community dance sector.
Julie is an Associate Dance artist of the Royal Ballet & Opera ‘Chance to Dance’ programme where she is inspired to work alongside professional artists and lead artists of the RBO creating opportunities for children who would not usually have a ‘Chance to Dance’
Julie is currently working within the outreach and inclusive dance sectors and is enjoying project work with many local companies.
