Kaine Ward

Kaine Ward (he/him) was born in the UK and made his professional debut at the age of 12, portraying the title role of Billy Elliot, in ‘Billy Elliot the Musical’ in London’s West End. Alumni of NYB, he studied at Tring Park School for the performing arts prior to graduating from The Juilliard School in NYC with a BFA Degree in Dance and The Hector Zaraspe Prize for Choreography. Upon Graduation from Juilliard, he became a founding member of Tanz Kassel dance company in Germany for two seasons until joining the Lyon Opera Ballet in France since 2023. He has performed renowned works across Europe, North America and Asia by choreographers including William Forsythe, Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin, Bobbi-Jene Smith, Marcos Morau, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Holly Blakey, Andonis Foniadakis, Roni Chadash, Drew McOnie, Jan Martens, Liliana Barros, Christos Papadopoulos, Candela Capitán, Bryan Arias, Katerina Andreou and Marlene Monteiro Freitas.
