Kaine Ward

Training/Education: Kaine Ward (he/him) studied at Tring Park School (UK) before graduating from The Juilliard School (NYC) in 2021 with a BFA Degree in Dance and The Hector Zaraspe Prize for Choreography.

Professional Experience: Alumni of NYB, Kaine made his professional debut at the age of 12, portraying the title role of Billy Elliot, in ‘Billy Elliot the Musical’ in London’s West End. Upon Graduation, he became a founding member of Tanz Kassel (Germany) for two seasons before joining the Lyon Opera Ballet (France) in 2023.
He has performed renowned repertoire and new creations across Europe, North America and Asia by choreographers including Ohad Naharin, Bobbi-Jene Smith, Marcos Morau, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Holly Blakey, Andonis Foniadakis, Roni Chadash, Christos Papadopoulos, Candela Capitan, Jan Martens, Liliana Barros, Bryan Arias, Trisha Brown and Drew McOnie.

Biggest Inspiration: “My biggest inspiration continues to be the colleagues I am surrounded by on stage and in the studio who push me to become a better dancer and version of myself.”
