Laura Roque
Training/Education: Laura Roque (she/her), from the Azores Archipelago, trained in Performing Arts and Multimedia at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, graduating with honours, and previously completed a professional performing arts course in Lisbon.
Professional Experience: With nearly a decade of experience in the arts, Laura has worked across live performance, film, arts administration, and digital storytelling internationally and in the UK. Her practice spans filmmaking, content creation, marketing, and audience engagement, combining creative production with editorial and communications experience.
She has recently captured and edited short films, including I Think Before I Am and a brand film for the project Magma. Alongside her creative work, she freelances as a content editor and campaign coordinator, editing long-form and digital content, developing campaign and engagement strategies for writers, artists, and cultural organisations. She also works in ticket sales and administration at Sadler’s Wells Theatre. Previously, she held roles at the ADC Theatre and Engage Hub, where she led creative campaigns orchestration, managed digital content, and supported international projects.
