Mattia Mollica

Mattia (she/her) is a 2026 graduate specialising in Costume Construction on a programme delivered in partnership with the Royal Opera House and validated by UAL.

 

Her professional experience spans a range of theatre and performance settings, from dressing on major West End and touring productions to working in the Dye Workshop at the Royal Ballet and Opera. A particular highlight has been working on Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre since its opening in late 2025 as a dep dresser, supporting first covers through technical and dress rehearsals.

 

In autumn 2024, Mattia spent a month with English National Ballet, contributing to costume preparation for a new production of The Nutcracker. Working on principal costumes for roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy and Ice Queen, she developed skills in costume construction, alteration and finishing. She later joined the running wardrobe team as a dresser for English National Ballet’s 2025/26 season of The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum.
