Monique Jonas

Monique was a principal dancer with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures touring with them nationally and internationally from 2019. She, however, started her career with Richard Alston Dance Company 2016 . Over the years, Monique has also worked commercially on the Brit Awards (2021), The Marvels (Disney 2023), The REGIME (HBO, 2024). She is currently touring in Dickson Mbi’s Company’s  new production of Tellus.

Additionally Monique founded Jona Dance in 2019. She has been choreographing, movement directing, teaching and producing work both online and in person.  Jona Dance have created for Ballet Black, Reebok and London Fashion Week to name a few.  She premiered Within Each Border (2025) in Barcelona and REPLICA (2026) created on Ballet Central is currently touring around the UK. She recently movement directed for Edem Wornoo’s Sci-fi – fantasy short film End Of Play which premiered in 2025.
