Rosie Mackley

Rosie (she/her) is a Scottish dance artist working widely across the sector, including in performance, choreography, teaching and arts administration. Much of her work is in the intersection of young people and live events, both of which she is passionate about. Originally training on the BA Modern Ballet with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Scottish Ballet, she’s also completed an MA in Dance Producing and Management with Middlesex University, and a Level 5 Diploma in Dance Teaching with the BBO. Over the last 6 years Rosie has worked in various capacities for the likes of : BBC Scotland, Scottish Ballet, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, West College Scotland, Lothian Youth Dance Company, Michael Clark, Katie Armstrong Projects and Ballet Folk. Having originally come through the Beyond Ballet programme as a choreographer, Rosie is delighted to be working with NYB this season as Artistic Assistant, supporting the fantastic work of the company!
