Ruth K Armstrong

Ruth K Armstrong is an experienced dance practitioner and creative working within leading vocational training. She began her training at The Pauline Howard School of Dance before completing her professional studies at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating with Diplomas in Musical Theatre, Professional Dance, and ISTD teaching qualifications.

 

Ruth has taught extensively across major vocational institutions and is currently a member of Dance Faculty at Bird Conservatoire. Her previous role at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts saw her train young performers, including many NYB alumni, alongside choreographing a range of Dance and Musical Theatre productions. She was integral in developing the Tring Park Outreach Programme, widening access to dance in primary education.

 

Additionally, as a dual ISTD Examiner, tutor, and creative developer, Ruth lectures nationally and internationally. She remains inspired by the MGM stars she admired growing up, the mentors who guided her, and the emerging artists she is proud to encourage.
