NYB was proud to host its second Dancers’ Development Experience at Elmhurst Ballet School in August 2022

During this non residential course, the students created a short choreography with Beyond Ballet® artist Tierney Lawlor which was performed under lights and in costume at Elmhurst Studio Theatre. Over five days the students worked on their ballet technique whilst also developing their skills in drama, contemporary dance and in performance. In addition the students started and finished the day with a short Moving Minds session, to help to focus them during the day and support their personal development and confidence. 

NYB was touched to see how much the dancers’ improved during the course and to witness the strong company bond that they developed as a team.
