National Youth Ballet All In!

NYB All In! explores how ballet can be created and taught in ways that are more accessible for disabled and neurodivergent dancers, so that more young people can experience and enjoy this beautiful art form.

We work in partnership with dance experts and organisations across the UK on activities such as residencies, workshops and creative opportunities, including the production of a new dance film with English Heritage. Alongside this, we are developing a programme of continuing professional development (CPD) for ballet professionals.

Through all our work we are rethinking how ballet is taught, making it accessible to more young people, whilst also staying true to its artistic identity and heritage.

In 2026, we continue to partner with inclusive dance specialists Parable Dance, Kate Stanforth Dance and That!Dance, alongside national dance agencies South East Dance and FABRIC. Together, we are exploring how ballet can be taught more inclusively for dancers with and without disabilities and neurodivergence. The project brings disabled and non-disabled young dancers together in the studio to train and create new choreography together. It also provides space for teacher training, learning and development.

NYB All In! is guided by a dedicated steering group made up of industry professionals and young dancers with and without disabilities. Their insight and experience help shape the direction of the work.

Our goal is to bring the NYB All In! performance company to more parts of the country through partnerships with other organisations, and to share our learnings from the project with more dance teachers and choreographers.
