Seasons Greetings from National Youth Ballet
As the year draws to a close want to take this opportunity to share some of the National Youth Ballet highlights of 2024 and to thank all our partners, funders, friends, volunteers and wider NYB creative family for your continued support of our work.
Our core value of working inclusively is at the very heart of our mission; NYB All In! has shown how critical this work is. Seeing our NYB All In! Company on the main stage as part of our wonderful Evolving Visions show spoke volumes about our commitment to making our work accessible, and we will continue to develop this with courage and commitment.
Placing the voices of young people centre stage through our newly formed Youth Council is helping us understand how to be an organisation that is relevant and resilient for a bright future. Their ideas and passion for how NYB can be even better will be key to some exciting developments next year.
Creativity has flourished outside the studio and we have been proud to watch our Beyond Ballet cohort thriving, most recently with the success of their Beyond the Plaques film thanks to the partnership with English Heritage. Keep your eyes peeled in the new year when we’ll be opening submissions for new applicants to the programme!
With Residential Performance Company auditions around the corner and new partnerships on the horizon, we can’t wait to throw open our doors again and we look forward to a brilliant 2025.
🏢 The National Youth Ballet of Great Britain office will be officially closed between Monday 23rd December 2024 until Monday 6th January 2025. Inboxes will not be monitored across this period, and we look forward to responding to any enquiries in the new year.
For now, we wish you all a joyful, seasonal holiday.
Barbara Palczynski and Jo Meredith
Chief Executive and Creative Director of NYB
