Arts for Impact 2025: INSPIRE – MOVE – CREATE

NYB is on a mission to bring inclusive ballet to more young dancers, in a ballet space for all.

You can help us make it happen by supporting our INSPIRE – MOVE – CREATE appeal!

You can find an audio-visual description of this appeal at the bottom of this page.

Arts For Impact in association with The Big Give is a matched fundraising campaign and part of national UK arts fundraising week. After the success of our 2024 campaign, we’re delighted to have been selected again, and to introduce our INSPIRE – MOVE – CREATE dance appeal.

For one week only from Tuesday 18 March 2025 all donations up to our £5000 target will be DOUBLED at no extra cost to you, matched by our partners at Big Give.

We hope to raise £5,000 from a wide range of NYB supporters and the general public, to unlock a further £5,000 of matched funding for a grand total of £10,000, all of which will be used to support our ongoing inclusive dance work.

“Everyone feels that they have a voice, everyone feels able to move and be free” 2024 Participant

What the funds are used for:

Thanks to our 2024 Arts for Impact campaign, NYB All In! has already made a huge impact in 2024 including:

  • a live performance of NYB All In! Romeo and Juliet at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in September in partnership with Parable Dance, placing our commitment to working inclusively centre-stage
  • an online performance project with Kate Stanforth Academy of Arts CIC bringing Kate’s insight into meaningful, accessible ballet opportunities for participants at home with disabilities or long term health conditions
  • the launch of our ballet legacy classes in Brighton run by our NYB All In! Young Leaders inspired by our NYB All In! steering group – you can hear directly from our Young Leaders by watching the film here.

What’s next:

Hot on the heels of the success of our NYB All In! company in Brighton, the aim of the 2025 INSPIRE – MOVE – CREATE appeal is to make inclusive practice part of everything we do, including a brand new NYB All In! inclusive dance residency in the Midlands and and exciting partnership with OnSide Youth Zones that will throw open the ballet studio doors to empower young people who have never done ballet before.
