We are delighted to welcome you to our All In! photography exhibition. All In! Is an inclusive ballet collaboration between the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain and Parable Dance in partnership with South East Dance.

Funded by the Arts Council England, this innovative project not only supported young artists at the beginning of their careers to develop their skills in inclusive ballet practice, but also provided a special opportunity for young disabled and non-disabled dancers to unite, learn from each other and work together as a company to perform an adaptation of the Prokofiev ballet: “Romeo and Juliet.” This production was choreographed, lit and costumed by young artists on the National Youth Ballet Beyond Ballet® programme at The Creation Space, South East Dance.

Photographers Jules Renahan and Ciara Clayton, captured powerful moments over the course of the workshops and final production at South East Dance. There are five pathways that you can follow:

• All In! Choreographers’ Learning Journey – from training days in November 2022 to delivering the full choreographic project in August 2023
• All In! Inclusive Ballet Class – how we explored and developed our inclusive ballet classes
• All In! Creative Explorations – how we explored delivering creative ideas in an inclusive and accessible way.
• All In! Company create Romeo and Juliet – the development of inclusive choreography for Romeo and Juliet with our All In! company dancers in August 2023
• All In! Company perform Romeo and Juliet – the presentation of inclusive choreography for Romeo and Juliet on 1st September 2023.
