Anna Freire Camacho
Training/Education: Anna (she/her) completed a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Bristol before completing an MA in Stage and Production Management at Guildford School of Acting in 2021.
Professional Experience: Anna has been a freelance stage manager since completing her MA. Most recently she has been Deputy Stage Manager for an all-female/non-binary version of ‘Henry V’ at Temple Church in Bristol; Stage Manager for the world premier of ‘The One Good Thing’ at East Riding Theatre; Stage Manager for ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at the Redgrave Theatre, Bristol; and Company Stage Manager on Book for ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at Chipping Norton Theatre. This is Anna’s fourth year working for National Youth Ballet’s residential performance company.
Biggest Inspiration: Anna’s biggest inspiration comes from pre-history. We’ve been creating art for tens of thousands of years, some of which still survives today. Creating art is one the things that makes us human and she couldn’t be without it.
