Summer Workshops
Bringing young people together through creative, joyful and inclusive ballet activities that nurture confidence, skills and positive values.
National Youth Ballet is delighted to be returning to Grimsby this summer to offer a day of immersive and exciting workshops with our leading teachers and facilitators. These half-day workshops are a fantastic way to build performance skills and nurture creativity, bringing young people together to collaborate for one day to form a mini ‘company’.
The workshops will include:
- A specifically designed ballet class to focus on both technique and developing young dancers’ individual performance skills.
- A creative class with an NYB choreographer to challenge and empower young dancers to explore their own creative voices.
- A Moving Minds session to support and nurture dancers’ mindset.
- A short informal ‘sharing’ with parents
Whether you are preparing for your vocational dance school auditions, or looking for an opportunity to explore your own individual performance qualities, or you just want to meet other people who love ballet, this workshop will allow you the space to become the best artist that you can be!
