Still time to catch our Easter Masterclass Series

We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from our Easter Masterclass Series and due to several requests we are excited to be able to offer recordings of various sessions for those who were unable to attend the live events.

Ticket holders will be sent links to watch the films via Vimeo of either the Juniors masterclasses with Nicky Henshall and Constance Devernay, or the Senior masterclasses led by Emma Price, Vanessa Vince Pang, Sarah Kundi, Ebony Molina and Drew McOnie.  These links will be available until Sunday 2nd May.

Over Easter NYB presented a week of online masterclasses led by some of the leading voices of the UK ballet industry. The masterclasses span learning new skills, honing technique, exploring repertoire, developing creativity and Q&A’s with each day’s guest artist.

Select whether you would like to watch the Junior or Senior masterclasses when purchasing your ticket. The filmed sessions will be available to watch until Sunday 2 May. These bespoke masterclasses are tailored for both junior (9-12 yrs) and senior (13-18 yrs) dancers.

Guest artists for each masterclass are;

JUNIORS – 9-12 yr olds, suitable for at least RAD grade 2 or equivalent level dancers

Nicky Henshall – Rehearsal Director for Akram Khan’s Creature, former dancer with English National Ballet and An American in Paris, West End.

Constance Devernay – Principal Dancer with Scottish Ballet

SENIORS – 13-18 yr olds, suitable for at least RAD grade 5 or equivalent level dancers

Emma Price – Artist of Birmingham Royal Ballet

Vanessa Vince Pang – Independent dance artist, Former dancer with Phoenix Dance and NYB Alumnus

Sarah Kundi – First Artist, English National Ballet

McOnie Company – live Q&A with Olivier Award winner and NYB almunus, Drew McOnie, and class and repertoire led by a McOnie Company dancer.
