Araminta Wraith

Araminta Wraith (she/her) is an actor, dancer, and theatre-maker. She trained as an actor at RADA after a distinguished career in ballet and contemporary dance.

 

Originally trained at the Royal Ballet School, Araminta danced with English National Ballet and as a soloist with Scottish Ballet, performing leading roles for 14 years. Her credits include Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire, and the lead role in Money’s Hold Me Forever, directed by Cillian Murphy.

 

Performance highlights include Dust (Akram Khan) on Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage and Swan Lake at Wembley Stadium.

 

Araminta is the founder of And The Rest, a production company developing original, collaborative work. Its inaugural production, We’ve Had Such A Lovely Time, co-created with Dan Sherer, tours the UK this year.

 

She also works as a movement director; her latest film, Split Ends, premiered at the BFI IMAX in May 2025.
