Pollyanna Hope
Training/Education: Pollyanna (she/her) trained with the CAT Scheme at the London Contemporary Dance School and ENBYouthCo. She is currently studying Politics at university.
Professional Experience: Pollyanna has danced in the National Youth Ballet’s ReGeneration (2022) and Evolving Visions (2024). With The Place CAT Scheme she danced in Saju Hari’s Akiyam (2023), Omari Carter’s Mind the Gap (2022) Kloe Dean’s Introvert (2021). With ENBYouthCo she performed pieces by amazing choreographers like Richard Bermange, Stina Quagebeur, and Renato Paroni de Castro. In January 2022 Pollyanna was lucky enough to dance in and voiceover Toyota’s ‘Beautiful Movement’ advertising campaign for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and in 2024 danced in a montage for the the end of the Channel 4 coverage of the Paralympic Games. She was also incredibly honoured to dance at the Homecoming of the Paralympics GB Athletes Show, performing a solo by Corey Baker.
Biggest inspiration: In dance, the dynamism and sheer style in Forsythe choreography. In life, that most things in the world are created from love of something. In NYB, Jo Meredith, who tries to create a better world and is like a ray of sunshine everywhere she goes.
