Frank Freeman In-House Choreographic Competition
We are delighted to announce that in 2018 our competition will be judged by David Bintley, CBE, Director, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Ruth Brill, NYB alumna, First Artist, Birmingham Royal Ballet.
It is a long-standing NYB tradition that as part of our Residential Performance Company we hold our Frank Freeman Choreographic Competition. We want to encourage the future choreographers of the next generation and all our students are invited to enter. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to devise their own original pieces all under the guidance and mentorship of NYB professional choreographers and staff and present them on stage on the night of the competition.
