Alumna, Carrie Johnson can be spotted in Disney’s upcoming film The Nutcracker featuring American Ballet Theatre’s principal dancer Misty Copland.

Congratulations to our incredible Lighting Designer, Andrew Ellis who has been awarded the ‘Best Lighting Design or Eugeniusis’ @BroadwayWorldUK Awards.

Congratulations to alumnus Drew McOnie who made his Choreographic and Directorial debut on Broadway this Autumn with the almighty King Kong.

2018 Beyond Ballet Choreographer, Matthew Nicholson, is currently Associate Choreographer to award winner Liam Steel for The Wizard of OZ at Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

Casting has just been announced for Patron Sir Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet.  Congratulations to Arielle Smith (Young Associate Choreographer) Paris Fitzpatrick (Romeo) Bryony Harrison (Juliet) Asher Rosenheim and Billy Scott (ensemble).

Sophie Laplane, one of our 2018 Beyond Ballet choreographers, was chosen to attend the prestigious New York Choreographic Institute.  She has been choreographing and collaborating with the dancers of New York City Ballet and ABT, The NYU Department of Design for Stage and Film and the Juilliard School.

Emily-Jane Boyle, 2018 choreographer, has been extremely busy this year. Her work can be seen all around the country including Dundee Rep, Eden Court, West Yorkshire Playhouse, the National Theatre Scotland, Tron Theatre and The National Theatre, London.

Amelia O’Hara is currently touring and performing in Ballet Ireland’s festive favourite, The Nutcracker.
